yes & now
by Yvette Nepper

The poems in yes & now were originally intended for a zine about ideal worlds, but they became this book instead. The yes is a stand-in for a very, very old yes. The and manages all the binaries here. And the now is a counterargument to someday.
If yes & now had a frequency, it would reach you through the chord structure of “Venus” by Bananarama.
Yvette Nepper is a Cincinnati-based poet and psychotherapist and the author of the chapbooks everything I wanted was inside my personality (Bottlecap Press) and 26 poems for Grownups and Children (Perfect Lovers Press). Guided by the belief that language has its own agenda, she creates art that reaches toward beauty.
